君不见 Do you not see
黄河之水天上来 ，The Yellow River surging
奔流到海不复回。 And pouring into the sea, never to return?

高堂明镜悲白发 ，The mirror grieving for my hair
朝如青丝暮成雪 。Once silken black, now snow-white?
人生得意须尽欢，When hopes are fulfilled, drink in the pleasure
莫使金樽空对月 。In the moonlight never leave the wine cup empty
天生我材必有用，Heaven doen’s give us talent for nothing
千金散尽还复来。Great fortune spent more, will come
烹羊宰牛且为乐，Kill a cow, cook a sheep, let’s make merry
会须一饮三百杯 。Without counting the cups of wines we drink
岑夫子，丹丘生 ，Invite my dearest friends
将进酒，杯莫停。Bring the wines, never put down your cups
与君歌一曲，I will sing you all a song
请君为我倾耳听。Please listen with a willing ear
钟鼓馔玉不足贵，What differences would lavish dishes make?
但愿长醉不复醒。I only long to get drunk, never to wake
古来圣贤皆寂寞，The great names were forgotten through the ages
惟有饮者留其名。Only the true drinkers are always remembered
陈王昔时宴平乐，Prince Chen used to feast at his banquets
斗酒十千恣欢谑。A fortune was spent at his drinking revelry
主人何为言少钱，A host must never complain of the money on wine
径须沽取对君酌。I shall sell all treasures just to drink with you
五花马、My rare horse
千金裘，My costly fur coat
呼儿将出 Let me trade them
换美酒，For fine wine
与尔同销万古愁。So together we may drown our age-old woes.
